Professor Perry Bartlett (BDSc, PhD)Queensland Brain Institute, University of QueenslandProf Perry Bartlett is the Director of the Queensland Brain Institute at the University of Queensland. He is internationally renowned in the field of cellular and molecular neurobiology, having been part of several major discoveries that have changed neuroscience; the existence of neuronal stem cells, a putative mechanism for new nerve vell production from neuronal stem cells, and finding the Eph4 gene's role in axonal generation. Prof Bartlett is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA) and has been awarded the highly prestigious Australian Research Council Federation Fellowship. Prof Bartlett will oversee the gene expression mapping performed in the Queensland node of the Consortium. These maps of gene expression will be created in collaboration with the Centre for Magnetic Resonance (see Professor Graham Galloway ). Laboratory Staff
