Associate Professor Gary Egan (BSc (Hons), PhD, MBA)Howard Florey InstituteA/Prof Gary Egan is a Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Neuroinformatics Group at the Howard Florey Institute. A/Prof Egan's professional experience has included a post-doctoral fellowship in the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in particle physics research, and research positions iat the Centre for PET (Austin Hospital), the University of Melbourne, and the Mental Health Research Institute. The Neuroinformatics Group develops tools, databases and techniques for imaging research in humans and small animals. This research includes functional brain mapping projects and methods development for the analysis of neuroimaging data. A/Prof Egan and his staff bring experience in MRI informatics and high resolution correlation methods and informatics networks to the Consortium. Laboratory Staff
